Site Manager (Req # 1280) - Chandler, AZ

Job Description

Description: Site Manager for Chandler, AZ customer site. This position is responsible for the leading, staffing and 7x24 scheduling of a world-class field service department. The Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of their site. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Staffing: Training and certifications, review/periodic feedback, scheduling
  • Customer Service
  • Escalation management
  • Safety: Training, coaching, reporting
  • Logistics: Parts ordering, returns, reporting, local stocking
  • Administrative: Reports, timecards

Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including machine installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and engineering change upgrades. Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Schedules personnel and support coverage. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the service and support function. Coordinates communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention. Escalates to appropriate departments for resources and other support and manages the escalation.

Desired Qualifications

  • Environment flexibility is required. The job requires meeting customers, FSEs, factory or other support personnel in the appropriate place. This may include the manager’s or other’s offices, in the clean room, meeting rooms, site cafeteria or any other place needed to meet the person for effective communication.
  • Time flexibility is required. Our customers typically run 24 hours a day, 365 days year. The manager should be prepared to support the customer and employees at any time within reason. This may involve skewing working hours to improve face time with night shift personnel, attend or call into customer meetings, or direct operations on site.
  • Appropriate business apparel is required to set a business tone and show respect for the customer and own company.
  • The manager should be prepared to work the number of hours to effectively manage employees and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Educational Requirements

5 to 7 years semiconductor experience and Associates Degree or equivalent military electronics training.
